Kurotani-san 黒谷さん

Konkai Komyo-ji, known as Kurodani-san, is a head temple of the Jodo sect of Japanese Buddism. It is said to have been the place at which Honen, the founding patriarch of the Jodo sect, built a hut to dwell in having completed a period of Buddhist practice on Mt.Hiei.
金戒光明寺は、「黒谷さん」の愛称で呼ばれる浄土宗の総本山で、開祖である法然上人が比叡山での修行を終えて、草庵を結んだ場所とされています。
Amitabha Hall & Main hall & A three-storied Pagoda 阿弥陀堂&御影堂&三重塔

We pass through the Korai-mon Gate, which with its iron fittings is like the entrance to a castle. Before us we have the Amitabha(Amida) Hall where the Buddha statue that is the main object of worship is housed. The main hall is a hall dedicated to the image of of the founding patriarch. There is also a three-storied pagoda built for the post-mortem repose and salvation of the second shogun of the Edo shogunate, Tokugawa Hidetada.
鉄が貼られた城の門構えのような高麗門をくぐると、本尊を祀る阿弥陀堂、本堂である御影堂、江戸幕府幕府二代将軍の徳川秀忠の菩提を弔う三重塔などがあります。
The Unique Afro Buddha アフロヘアの仏様

The stone Buddha-image five kalpas of deliberation Tathagata Amitabha(a name which refers to the five eons spent by Amida considering his vows to save all beings) has been lovingly named the Afro Buddha due to the length of the hair, grown thick during long years of austerities.
五劫思惟阿弥陀如来の石仏は、長い修行で髪の毛が積み重なったその姿から「アフロヘアの仏様」と呼ばれ親しまれています。
